Iolanda has finished her PhD thesis, entitled "Optogenetic investigation of cardiac arrhythmia mechanisms". She will defend her thesis publically on Dec 11th in front of family, friends, and a dedicated thesis committee. We are proud to have Leonardo Sacconi from the Biophysics Biophotinics Lab at LENS, Florence, Italy, in the committe as an expert in the field of cardiac optogenetics.
Her PhD training was supported by ZonMw, Ammodo and the ERC.
