Shanliang joined our lab as PhD student in the summer of 2021 after obtaining Bachelor degree in Measurement techniques and instrumentation from Tianjin University (China) and a Master's degree in Electrical engineering/Microelectronics from the Technical University Delft.
His PhD training will focus on the design, development and application of micro-optoelectronics for optogenetic studies into cardiac arrhythmias. His project is a collaborative effort between our lab and the Department of Microelectronic engineering of the Technical University of Delft (prof. dr. Kouchi Zhang, Dr. Rene Poelma).
